 Tucson, Arizona – An experienced self-storage developer is planning a new state-of-the-art storage facility on the old Hooters location on Tanque Verde & Wilmot Roads just south of Costco in Tucson, Arizona. This will be constructed on one of the developer’s strategically located sites in the City located at 6335 E. Tanque Verde Road and is adjacent to Mr. Carwash. The development will contain one multi-story class A building with a contemporary exterior design. It will be fully air-conditioned with approximately 100,000 square feet net, containing about 1,200 units. The developer’s design, architecture, and engineering teams are planning a 4-story self-storage facility with excellent visibility from Tanque Verde Road – it will be called “TOWER STORAGE”. The Development Plan is currently in process for submittal to the City of Tucson, and construction is expected to begin in the fall of this year (2021).
